Kindergarten and First grade explored travel catalogues as an introduction into our unit on MEDIA LITERACY. They used these magazines to look at photography of other places to identify the message of this media.
2nd grade is continuing the creating of their puppet and writing their research card with the information that they will share from their research with the puppet they are making.
3rd grade is finishing up their research and starting their google slideshow about their country.
4th grade is finishing up their research and starting their presentation. They were given some choices between some electronic platforms (adobe spark, prezi, weebly) or making a poster, trifold, or book.
5th grade will be learning about how to conduct an interview over the phone. They will be learning about good communication skills and practicing these skills with each other.

4th graders will be starting their presentation. They were given some choices between some electronic platforms (Adobe Spark, Prezi, Weebly) or making a poster, trifold, or book. As a partnership they decided what platform they would like to do
5th grade will be learning how to generate citations for all their research resources into MLA format. They will be using the genreating website www.easybib.com.
